Animal Control By-Law: The MRC Pontiac has instituted a by-law and hired SPCA Alymer as its agent. If you have a problem with an animal (mainly dogs and cats) the animal control officer is Jacques Fortin. His pager number is 819-779-6599. Key in your phone number and he will call you back.

Cat and dogs now require a license. They are available at the Municipal Office at a cost of $20.00 per animal, per year.
